Terms of Service
The rules for joining the Ship or Die crew and staying on board.
Last updated: May 24, 2026
1. Agreement
By accessing or using Ship or Die ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Who we are
The Service is operated by JustShipIt Pte. Ltd., located at 10 Petain Road, #04-01 International Plaza, Singapore 068914. You can reach us at crew@email.ship-or-die.com.
3. What the Service is
Ship or Die is a paid community for founders who commit to shipping a startup within 30 days. Membership includes access to a private community (including Discord), mission tracking, and a public profile page.
The Service is not a course, coaching program, or investment service. We do not guarantee business results, revenue, funding, or that any project will succeed.
4. Your account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your email secure. One person should not maintain multiple accounts to bypass rules or pricing.
Sign-in is handled through email verification codes sent to the address you provide.
5. Payment
Access requires a one-time payment processed through Stripe. Pricing may vary by tier (currently between $199 and $299 USD). There is no subscription and no automatic recurring charge for crew access.
Prices and tiers may change for future customers. Your quoted price at checkout is the price that applies to your purchase.
6. Refunds
Payments are generally non-refundable. You are paying for access to a deadline-driven community, not for a guaranteed outcome.
We may issue a refund at our discretion in limited cases, including:
- Duplicate charges for the same purchase
- Technical failures that prevent you from accessing the Service after payment
- Any situation where a refund is required by applicable law
To request a refund, email crew@email.ship-or-die.com with your account email and purchase details within a reasonable time after the charge.
7. Mission rules
After joining, you may start a mission by committing to a project. The 30-day deadline starts when that mission is created.
To complete a mission, you must ship something publicly accessible via a link (for example a live product, landing page, or public launch post with a working URL). Submission and approval rules are described inside the Service.
If you miss the deadline without an accepted launch:
- Your account may be marked as overboard
- You may lose access to the private community and Discord
- Your public profile may reflect overboard status
You may start new missions later if you remain eligible under the Service rules. Changing your committed idea after starting a mission is only allowed in limited early cases, as described in the product.
8. Community conduct
You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other members or our team
- Post spam, scams, or misleading content
- Share illegal content or use the Service for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to disrupt, scrape, or reverse engineer the Service
We may remove content, suspend access, or terminate accounts that violate these rules or harm the community.
9. Your content
You keep ownership of content you submit, including profile information, project names, domains, icons, and launch materials.
You grant JustShipIt Pte. Ltd. a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and reproduce that content to operate and promote the Service. This includes showing your public profile, crew listings, and shipped projects on Ship or Die.
You represent that you have the rights to any content you upload or publish through the Service.
10. AI avatars
The Service may generate pirate-style avatars from a photo you upload using third-party AI tools. By uploading a photo, you confirm you have the right to use it and that it depicts you (or a person you are authorized to represent).
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JustShipIt Pte. Ltd. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for access in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you break these terms, fail mission rules, or create risk for the community or the Service.
Sections that should survive termination (including payment disputes, disclaimers, liability limits, and content licenses) will continue to apply.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be handled in the courts of Singapore, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
